me data collection software in a similar way to an external memory drive (USB stick or CD). When not in use, the UVProbe takes up very little space.
QuickProbe functionality
The QuickProbe software enables interactive PC-based UV-VIS and fluorimeter analysis of a spectrum of samples without the need for additional software, hardware or operator intervention.
QuickProbe has the same capabilities as UVProbe with the addition of the following functions:
Automatic Measurements
Averages and standard deviations of spectra
Spectral smoothing (Savitzky-Golay method, first order or second order)
Calculation and display
PC2.71 spectrophotometry and fluorescence (Absorption and Emission maxima and standard deviation of spectra)
UV-VIS spectrophotometry (Absorption and Emission maxima and standard deviation of spectra)
PC-2.71 spectrofluorimetry
Absorbance and emission (Absorption and Emission maxima and standard deviation of spectra)
Wavelengths of spectra peaks
Calculation of molar absorption coefficients, molar extinction coefficients and fluorescence quantum yields
Fluorescence excitation and emission spectra
Calculation of fluorescence quantum yields and determination of linear and Stern-Volmer constants
Fluorescence lifetime, measured with Time-Correlated Single Photon Counting (TCSPC)
Trace concentration measurements
Regression, curve fitting and plotting of measurements
Installation and setting up
The software is supplied on a CD. When the CD is inserted into the computer the software is automatically installed, and the settings are automatically saved. It is also possible to open the software using the CD icon in the Windows Start menu.
Warranty
Prestige UVProbe is covered by a two-year warranty for normal operation and by a five-year warranty for components that have failed due to defect in materials and workmanship.

They all have the ability to receive, store, and send data via e-mail, but their on-device data is limited to what the device can physically store.
